Meeting Agendas & Minutes

Board of Directors Monthly Meeting, unless otherwise indicated

The Board meets the third Thursday of each month at 6:00 p.m. at PCBDD, 200 Eaton-Lewisburg Road, Eaton, Ohio.

Public Participation at Preble DD Meetings

The Preble County Board of Developmental Disabilities has established a policy that permits a fair and orderly expression of public input in formulating specific direction for the Board of Developmental Disabilities. (Public Participation in Board of DD Meetings, Section 2.17.) The policy was approved at the Board’s November 9, 2010, regular meeting.

During a period at/or near the conclusion of each agenda for public participation, the following procedures will be followed (not a complete list):

  • All remarks shall be addressed to the Board as a body, not to any one member of the board
  • All persons wishing to participate in a public board meeting must notify the Board’s Administrative Office at least 24 hours in advance of the meeting, or the preceding business day when a holiday occurs, and include:
    • Name and address of participant
    • Group affiliation, if any
    • Topic to be discussed
    • Statements shall be limited to three (3) minutes
  • Participants may not speak more than once on the same topic unless all others who wish to speak on that topic have been heard. Then, if a participant wishes to readdress the board, the presiding officer will determine if further discussion is appropriate.

If an entire group has a concern, it is the responsibility of that group to appoint a spokesperson that best represents the interests of those impacted. The purpose is to eliminate redundancy and accentuate clarity of the items discussed.
